Highest Potential Training
MISSION STATEMENT
Highest Potential Training is committed to providing an individualized and knowledge-based journey of growth for people of all arenas of life. The best course for maximizing abilities and independence involves an individual approach. Since every person may have a different story, a different goal and a different environment, they all deserve a different approach to reaching their highest potential. We believe no diagnosis should ever be treated the same due to the sheer range of factors at work in people’s lives. We are dedicated to treating people and lives – not diseases, disorders or injuries.

Experience

Our Mission
At Highest Potential Training we offer services that address a variety of populations’ needs. Our services for adaptive clients include Assisted Daily Activities of Living (ADLs), Physical Therapy exercises, pool therapy, boxing, breathing exercises, joint mobility training, and strength & conditioning.
We provide pain relief, strength, balance, mobility and Kinstretch for the general population. Kinstretch is a movement enhancement system based in scientific research that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion. Our clients range from those seeking an outlet outside of Workers’ Compensation treatment or relief from chronic pain to those interested in overall health and fitness. Our services expand to include fall prevention, balance & coordination training as well as injury rehabilitation and prevention for athletes.

The goal of our team is to get clients out of pain and to increase confidence by creating an arena for them to gain strength. Those who have looked for a cure from chiropractors, massage therapists, surgeries, medications and shots are unlikely to believe that they can get out of pain.
Within the elderly population, pain is not always the culprit and we have found that prevention and sustaining physical abilities can be more necessary for these clients.
When balance goes downhill, falls increase and when falls happen, it’s a downward spiral. Fall prevention is huge. When someone doesn’t have balance walking around, that becomes the number one goal.
Our trainers have a detail-oriented approach and a wide scope of working with so many different people, ages and populations has benefitted our clientele as well as advanced our capabilities as trainers. Relating to clientele and truly putting ourselves in their shoes allows us to develop the trust needed to help people progress with their goals. Regardless of their situation, all clients learn the concepts behind joint health or injuries and see the necessity to take charge of their health and longevity. At Highest Potential Training, a ripple effect of change leads to new pathways and arenas for any client in any aspect of their life.

About Our Founder
Jax is a personal trainer with the background and knowledge of a neuro and orthopedic Physical Therapist experienced with many demographics.
Jax received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. Her educational pursuits continued with a Pre-Physical Therapy Certification. She then pivoted to Speech and received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Portland State University. Jax decided to apply for a Physical Therapy assistant program at Stanbridge University to further the time she spent with pediatric clients. During this time, she held a rotation at Casa Colina Hospital working in neurological out-patient, where she first developed her passion for working with the Neuro population. Jax was approached with a position at Goodwill Fitness Center, a Neuro gym, which she accepted. She continued her rotation at United Cerebral Palsy in Irvine, CA, focusing on Neuro within pediatrics. While she worked, she continued her education studying Neuro Development Technique (NDT) for adults and pediatrics. A life-long athlete who sought out and needed Physical Therapy herself, Jax loved the aspect of helping athletes attain goals through PT. She then spent time working as a Physical Therapy aide in an orthopedic outpatient clinic, which showed her how little treatment athletes would receive with the revolving door schedule that is the crux of many orthopedic clinics. As she transitioned into the personal training industry, she began studying Functional Range Conditioning concepts, which led to realizations regarding personal injuries and training habits. Jax then became certified in FRC and Kinstretch and extended her work to athletes and the general population to encompass joint mobility, strength, balance and/or injury prevention or rehabilitation. She has gleaned knowledge from post-op and hospital rehabilitation that she applies for the general population who require recovery, pain relief or to learn athletic movement.
At Highest Potential Training we believe that all people have endless potential for growth and can gain strength or wellness at any point in their life. Finding that functional training concepts apply to all populations, our trainers have seen little difference in how to address the goals for the general and adaptive populations and athletes. As a team we apply our wealth of knowledge to propel people to their highest potential through an accessible, holistic and functional training module that works for anyone with any kind of lifestyle.

Individualized one-on-one personal training
Define YOUR journey -
Every individual is different and every individual requires a different approach. At Highest Potential Training we believe that as an individual changes, their program should change with them. We utilize many different avenues to see what best fits your current needs and will help you reach your highest potential. Many clients use a combination of services provided. Book a consultation to discuss what would best fit your needs and your life.

Caregiver training
Although our trainers try to squeeze as much as we can into the time offered during sessions, in reality, this is only a tiny part of our client’s lives. Often times, this is overlooked when focusing on strength and mobility throughout sessions. Some small changes to the way a person performs their daily activities can drastically change the lives of not only our clients, but their caregivers and/or families as well.

In-home personal training
One of our favorite environments to work in is your environment! Where we can truly discover what an individuals specific needs and desires are, not only for the individual, but the family and/or caregiver as well. We take pride in creatively developing exercises and programs to truly target the client and client’s loved ones’ specific needs.
